Becoming a Massage Therapist
Massage Therapy Licensing in Texas
Massage therapy licensure requires completion of a state-approved 500-hour program and successful completion of a licensing examination.
Graduates may choose from approved examinations, including the MBLEX, along with a jurisprudence requirement. Additional requirements include fingerprinting and a background check.
Continuing Education
Education in massage therapy does not end at licensure. Through Barbara White Seminars, MTEC offers continuing education opportunities designed to refine skills, expand clinical knowledge, and support long-term professional growth.
